Sophia Rebecca-Marie

Sophia (“Sophii”) Rebecca-Marie is a Law Clerk at The Pride Law Firm. She will graduate from California Western School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, in December 2023. Upon graduation, Sophii will sit for the California Bar and join The Pride Law Firm as an Associate Attorney. She has a strong background in working with survivors of sexual assault. 

Before law school, Sophii received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Washington University (WWU). She presented her research on dating behaviors at WWU’s 2017 PsychFest. During and after her undergraduate studies, Sophii worked as a Survivor Advocate for five years. She has also completed over 150 hours of specialized training in working with trauma and sexual assault survivors. Sophii decided to pursue law school and dedicate her legal career to continuing to support survivors. 

In law school, Sophii was a member of the California Western Trial Team where she competed across the country to develop robust trial skills. She also served on the Board of the International Law Journal as a Senior Editor. You can find her scholarly work published in the journal. Sophii also earned the highest grade in several of her classes, including Trial Skills, Health Law and Policy, and Advanced Legal Writing (STEPPS I & II). 

At The Pride Law Firm, Sophii is a zealous advocate who fights for all survivors of sexual assault. She utilizes her background as a Survivor Advocate to provide a safe space for survivors. She also leverages her deep understanding of the impacts of trauma to maximize client outcomes. Sophii takes pride in her work and the role of representing survivors.

In addition to her legal work, Sophii dedicates her time to taking care of her rescue dog. She hopes to foster more rescues in the future.
